Supporting young girls and women with scholarship opportunity through social and networking endeavors
The Lincoln-Way Area Business Women's Organization (LWABWO) is a non profit club formed (in the 1970's) to support the interest and networking of the business women in the work world, as well as, to extend opportunities to local business women through education. You do not have to own a business in order to become a member.
We are a 501(c)(6) organization.
Our main focus is to provide scholarship funds to graduating female high school seniors and adult women for the purpose of continuing education.
We are a network of over 60 Women (Business Owners and Non-Business Owners) living in the New Lenox, Mokena, Frankfort and Manhattan area.
Each month a dinner meeting is held with a presentation. There is plenty of time to meet other members before and after the meeting.

Operation Care Package’s mission is to support deployed United States Military from every branch of service with care packages and letters of encouragement. Approximately 150 care packages are shipped weekly with annual postage reaching approximately $120,000. From November 25 to December 9, 2016, OCP mailed 2, 816 holiday care packages containing stuffed stockings for 6,500 troops, which included everyone on its roster. Today, as in 2003 when it began, Operation Care Package relies entirely on volunteers and donations to accomplish its goals. New volunteers are welcome at any time but are especially needed during the holiday mailings and for the Wreaths Across America event on December 16 this year. Would you like to promote your business or not-for-profit. We would like to hear from you.
